UCLA Overwatch Adds Emmy "swablu" Cao As Head Coach

UCLA Overwatch welcomes Head Coach Emmy “swablu” Cao to the Varsity roster. Cao is optimistic for the team’s future because of its friendly atmosphere and comradery. “(UCLA’s) team chemistry is very much present and they're all very encouraging to each other,” Cao said.
Cao will assist the team by providing spectator-insight and reviewing individual and team performances. “I think it definitely helps to have an outside opinion, especially since everyone gets so focused on their individual play during games,” she added.

Jasper “Juggernaut” Mok also said, “In addition to offering advice for the players’ individual decisions, (Cao critiques) team synergy and provides feedback for improving teamwork.” Cao will ensure that the Bruins form and practice team compositions that will improve their overall team performance.
Brad “raxa” Jiang said that having a coach will improve team synergy and team communication, which players struggle with currently. Mok agreed and added, “(Cao) provides massive mental support that ensures calmness among players which is the key to winning.”
