UCLA's Defense of the Ancients 2 squad is one of UCLA's oldest competitive teams, competing in over six years of league play. Although they have oftentimes struggled to advance deep into playoffs, the squad remained incumbent for much of its existence, anchored by veteran Joe Pinto and junior substitute Olivier Kuhn de Chizelle.

 

With the 2017-2018 school year rolling around, UCLA experienced an influx of talent from strong players from Southeast Asia. The rookies slot into a roster with veterans Pinto and de Chizelle, who has been promoted to a starting position. Freshmen Thet Lin Tun and newcomer Tony Carerra provide the raw skill and threats that UCLA has lacked, while newcomer Ethan Myint provides a stable presence as the team's in-game leader and drafter.

 

With the new talent, UCLA is poised to make the deepest run into CSL playoffs in its history.
