Game Recap: Hearthstone Gold and Blue Win with Decisive Results

On Monday night, your Hearthstone Gold and Blue teams emerged victorious in their matches with clean 3-0 results for both teams. Hearthstone Blue won against University of Idaho while your Bruins on the Hearthstone Gold team won against Boise State University’s team. Both teams played clean, strategic games that allowed them a path to victory.

The first game for Hearthstone Blue was won by changing their strategy mid-game as they “[realized] it was necessary to switch to to just hero powering down the opponent with Anduin.” In their second round, the team was able to emerge victorious by focusing their efforts into resurrecting with their Warlock deck. Finally, the Blue Bruins secured the win for the night by playing a board-strengthening combo of coin, Doppelganger and Evolve that allowed them to gain lethal.

Hearthstone Gold similarly played a clean match against their opponent, BSU. Hearthstone Gold got their first win of the night in a Shaman mirror match in which they forced their opponents to run out of resources. In their second game, Hearthstone Gold was fortunate enough to draw an AoE card that allowed them to secure lethal. Hearthstone Gold closed out the night by simply outplaying their opponent through taking control of board.
