UCLA Overwatch Summer Vacates Rest of Collegiate Starleague Summer Season

After much deliberation, the UCLA Overwatch Premiere Summer team has decided to vacate the rest of their summer season in the Collegiate Starleague Summer Series. This comes after the team decided they would have to forfeit their next 2 games against San Jose State and UC Riverside.
“We decided to forfeit because our players are busy this weekend, says captain Harsha Bandi, entering with an entire [substitute] roster would not have been worthwhile for the team.”
"We will try to put on a show in our last match against UCI. If Peter Park (Seyhyun) can play then we could field our strongest summer roster for a test run [for Fall]" he added.
“It is clear that every team that entered into the CSL Summer Series had the intention of playing their hardest in order to get in practice for the start of the school year, said Sunny Yen, founder of Esports @UCLA, with most of our players spending time with their families, graduating, or on vacation, the roster we fielded for summer just wanted to have some fun."
“We fully expect to return to full strength in fall. The team enjoyed the challenge of facing off against such powerhouse teams. Our returning players will be taking everything they learned here into their tryouts in fall" he continued.
With the two forfeits, the Bruins are locked in to finish last in their group with a 2-6 round record. With only the top 4 teams advancing to playoffs, UCLA is automatically eliminated from the rest of the summer season.
